President Trump's Greatest Accomplishment(that was sadly short lived)
Trump's attempt at archeo futurism
One of the biggest hurdles many American conservatives fail to climb over is the idea that the left wins because it engages in state patronage of its supporters and cultural icons. Many American conservatives, who tend to idealize the competency of the market, choose to ignore the idea of funding creative works entirely. Usually this is justified under the guise of fiscal conservatism or that building Hardrian’s Pantheon again isn’t a profitable venture that will fund itself. The main issue with this is that it leads to the left having a cultural hedgemony in the United States and around the world. Another thing to not is that most nations that ever existed historically funded works that were not profitable but contributed immensely to human achievement. Even the private corporations whom your senator gave a tax-cut no longer see use for conservative politics. As a result, the average conservative, let alone the average reactionary, feels culturally alone, with his concerns never being addressed, especially in regards to social issues. If you take a look at a great deal of modern leftist art, its often mediocre, ugly and depressing. As a result, living in areas where this is shown on public display and is lived in, via soul crushingly bland glass and steel buildings, spiritually crushes people and makes them prime targets for left leaning ideas, in an attempt to make their lives more meaningful and have a sense of purposes. It is all the more surprising that Trump of all people sought to tackle this meta issue head on, as one of his actions in the last several months of his first term.
Trumps Executive Order on Architecture
One of Donald Trump’s best actions as President sought to remedy this. When I’m asked what was my favorite action by President Trump, its not the Public Charge Rule, which effectively reduces legal immigration by 65%, nor is it the fact that there were no new theaters of war overseas. Its actually Trumps Executive Order on Architecture. To summarize it, it effectively forces buildings with a construction cost of over $50 million USD and which are built with federal funds, to be made in one of a few styles. I will first list the styles that can be used for federally funded buildings outside of the District of Columbia.
Gothic
Romanesque
Pueblo Revival
Spanish Colonial
“Other Mediterranean Styles(I will list several examples)
Mediterranean Revival
Spanish Renaissance
Italian Renaissance
French Colonial
Al-Andalusian
In the hive of scum and villainy that is DC, Trump laid out a specific set of styles for all federally funded buildings in the city. I will list an example of each
Neoclassical
Georgian
Federal
Greek Revival
Beaux-Arts
Art Deco
The creation of an indepedent regulatory organization
In a surprisingly forward looking vision, the executive order on Architecture did not want the appropiation and enforcement of its edicts delegated to Congress. Instead, the EO took a page of out a fellow substack writer and friend of Mine, by the name of Despot Romanicus.(Linked below)
I won’t give too many details on his works but basically, he advocates for the creation on indepedent regulatory organizations and the delegation of powers normally reserved for the government to these organizations, using incentive structures to keep their power in place. Its very esoteric theory(and if you follow me on Twitter, you would know my disdain for theorycels) but I felt that giving him a shoutout would best be done in this context.

Above is the link to the details on the independent organization and the executive order itself that sadly was disbanded by President Joe Biden very early on his presidency. Later I shall come up with an article outlining tips that a future Trump or Desantis administration could use assuming this is reinstated.
Thank you all and God Bless!
