Apostolic Age Jurist Issue 7-Completely Overhauling the State Education System
Not always bad to blatantly copy Florida
A summary of the reforms that are made by this document, which I advocate state legislators to retrofit to fit in with their own state code:
Gives the College Board of Governors the ability approve or reject the hiring professors and other faculty
Gives the College Board of Governors the ability to investigate and audit State University Presidents, veto budgets and fire university employees
Board of Trustees would have authority to confirm appointments/reappointments and contracts of the State University Presidents and audit performance of all high earning position holders
Can wield budget leverage to colleges that refuse to comply with certain initiatives, including those designed with intellectual diversity in mind
Gen Eds cannot be allowed to host ideologies that promote deconstruction of American Governance and her Way of life and the cultural foundations and roots of it
Requires Board of Governors to approve of fee increases by wider margins, power to the students!!!
Okay so where is the plan? Who Wrote it?
The plan comes out of the Desantis admin and has yet to be implemented but has been leaked. That is good for us, as now the blueprint for all state university systems is open to public viewing and implementation.
Here is the bill text itself. It is very long and contains many legal concepts that only apply to Florida. The onus is on state legislators to retrofit it to fit their State System and Law Code. It is VERY comprehensive and not a light read. Have fun!
